When you add Endpoints to a Network by scanning for them automatically, they appear using the host name provided for them on the Network (for example, "John_Notebook").
You can change the display name for Endpoints within CCleaner Network.
To change the display name for an Endpoint within CCleaner Network
- In the Network Tree, right-click the Endpoint name, and then select Edit host...
- On the General tab, edit the name in the Display name box, and then select OK.
Note: Host names cannot contain a space or any of the following characters:
- \
- /
- :
- *
- ?
- <
- >
- |
Note: Changing the name in CCleaner Network will not change the endpoint's actual host name, only how it's displayed in CCleaner Network.
