Why use CCleaner to uninstall programs you've installed on your Mac?
First, it's faster and easier than going into the app folder and dragging it into the Trash, and you can uninstall one program after another if you need to without having to go to different folders.
Second, dragging the program into the Trash only uninstalls it, but it doesn't remove the settings. CCleaner also removes configuration files. You can remove an application's logs and caches by running the cleaning process
To uninstall a program:
- In the left pane of CCleaner for Mac, click Tools, and then click Uninstall
- In the Uninstall pane, select the name of the program you want to uninstall.
- Click Uninstall
Note: If a program name is grayed out, the current user profile doesn't have the privileges needed to uninstall it.
