Restoring CCleaner's default settings

Have you ever wanted to undo all of the changes you’ve made from within CCleaner? You can easily do so by restoring its default, factory settings:

  1. Open CCleaner > click Options > Advanced
  2. Click on the “Restore default settings” button

Default settings can also be restored solely for the cleaning options listed under the Windows and/or Applications tab of Custom Clean. Simply right-click on the tabs and click “Restore default state”.

Or, right-click on the cleaning categories in Custom Clean (i.e. Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, etc) to restore the default settings for entire categories of files.Restore_default_settings_3.png
