The process varies between different browsers, and instructions for several common browsers are listed below.

Internet Explorer:
Step 1 - Download the installer
Click on https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download/standard, then confirm that you want to download the file by clicking on Download File...
Step 2 - Run the installer
After the download has finished, click Run to start installing Recuva.
Chromium-based browsers (such as Google Chrome, CCleaner Browser, or the new Microsoft Edge):
Step 1 - Download and Run the installer
Click on https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download/standard, then click the rcsetup###.exe button in the download bar at the bottom of the window.
Mozilla Firefox:
Step 1 - Download the installer
Click on https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download/standard, then click the Save File button in the download window.
Step 2 - Open the download list
Click the ‘completed downloads’ icon in Firefox
Click on the entry for the rcsetup###.exe file (it should show Open File beneath the file name)
Opera:
Step 1 - Download the installer
Click on https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download/standard, then click the Save button in the download window.
Step 2 - Run the installer
The download list should open automatically, allowing you to double-click on the rcsetup###.exe file.
