Defraggler optimizes your Windows PC by reducing the wear and tear on your hard drive and making you and Windows more efficient.
For general usage we recommend defragging once per month using the default settings of Defraggler. The simplest way to achieve this is to set up a schedule by following the instructions here.
For our more advanced users, Defraggler has a ton of advanced options to help your hard drive run at peak performance:
- Moving large files to the end (the slower part) of your drive
- Custom quick defrag based on file and fragment size
- Exclude files from the algorithm
- Defrag from within Windows Explorer
All these settings are available in Settings > Options
